This sandpiper can be found in few places in our area in summer. These photographs are from perhaps a 100 + yards distant.
We were in a refuge that didn't allow access into the grassland so could not make a closer approach. The Upland is often seen near the roadway at this spot and
I plan to obtain some better shots as time permits. Viewing these birds and photographing them are two entirely different tasks and these will serve as a sightings report for now.
